50% profits rise for Crédit Agricole capital markets and investment banking

Growth in the advisory and equity businesses and continued profits from fixed income boosted pre-tax income in Crédit Agricole's capital markets and investment banking businesses by over 50% in the first nine months of this year.

The French bank has also completed its €1.97bn ($2.3bn) rights issue in which shareholders took up 98.5% of their rights.
