Providence Equity Partners hires JP Morgan telecoms expert

JP Morgan Chase has lost Julie Richardson, a vice-chairman of the investment banking department and chairman of its telecoms, media and technology group, to Providence Equity Partners, a global private equity firm which specialises in the sector.

Richardson has been taken on as a managing director to look after existing portfolio companies and scout out new investments.
