Punter Southall, the pensions consultancy firm, has acquired the corporate administration pensions division of Brewin Dolphin in a further realignment of Brewin's business. Earlier this year, Newcastle-based Brewin Dolphin sold its corporate advisory and broking division saying that the sale would simplify the structure of the group into that of a pure investment manager. Brewin Dolphin has been a Punter Southall actuarial and pension administration client for 19 years.
