PwC remains highest fee charger for open-ended funds

PricewaterhouseCoopers is the leading auditor of UK-domiciled open-ended funds for a second year, and charges the highest median average audit fee for its services, according to a report by Fitzrovia International, the fund rating agency.

PwC reveals wide discrepancies between annual audit charges across the UK. Fund management companies are paying an average of between £1,387 (€2,241) and £10,559 in audit fees per fund per year.
