Qatar's QInvest plans $250m private equity fund

QInvest, Qatar's largest investment bank, plans to launch a $250m (€182.9m) private equity fund next year and is seriously looking at four investment opportunities amid a slump in asset valuations, the bank's chief executive said Monday.

"We've relooked our funds strategy considering what's happening globally and now plan to launch a multi-sector private equity fund early next year," Shahzad Shahbaz told Zawya Dow Jones in a phone interview.
