RBS forges new US leadership team to drive growth

Royal Bank of Scotland has created a dedicated US management team to improve synergies between its businesses, and drafted in a senior Citigroup employee as its first chief executive in the country.

The UK banking group has recruited Ellen Alemany as chief executive of RBS America and appointed Lawrence Fish, previously chairman and chief executive of its Citizens Financial subsidiary in the US, as chairman of its businesses in the country.
