Rescue of Italy's Freedomland under threat

The rescue of troubled Italian internet television provider Freedomland has been thrown into doubt after one of the three partners planning to buy into the company pulled out of the deal on Monday.

Management consultancy firm, Cuneo & Associati, said that it needed time to reflect on the conditions imposed by the Italian stock exchange on its participation in a consortium which planned to acquire 29.8% of Freedomland's shares from its founder.
