Resolution IPO to pass £600m mark

Insurance entrepreneur Clive Cowdery had secured £600m (€691m) in funding from some of the UK’s largest pension funds and hedge funds for the flotation of his buy-out firm Resolution as it entered its final day of bookbuilding today, which will make it the largest listing in London in seven months.

There were two large orders of £80m placed yesterday by institutional investors that pushed the total above the £600m mark, according to a banker familiar with the situation.
