Revere targets $150m for hedge fund seeding vehicle

Seeding firm looking to capitalise on 'surplus of investment talent' as it acquires research business to help with manager selection

A hedge fund seeding firm is raising funds for a new vehicle to capitalise on a scarcity of capital in the industry as well as a “surplus of investment talent” that it sees in the market.

Revere Capital Advisors is looking to raise $150m in the next few months for a seeding vehicle that it expects to allocate across 12 to 15 hedge funds over a four year period, according to Nick McEwen, a managing director in London.
