Revolut’s losses more than double despite rapid growth

Though the fintech firm is planning a massive hiring spree, it continues to spend prolifically

Digital banking start-up Revolut’s losses rose to £32.9m in the 12 months to December 31, 2018, an increase of 222% on the previous year.

The fast-growing bank experienced a rocky start to 2019, coming under fire for a range of issues including poor work-life balance and compliance lapses.
