A San Francisco-based blockchain payment solutions provider backed by the venture arms of CME Group and Santander has become the latest US distributed-ledger firm to target European growth, with plans to set up a regional headquarters in London.
Ripple, which has developed a blockchain-based system to enable banks to transfer money and make cross-border payments, announced the plan for the London office on March 21.
