Robey Warshaw hires JP Morgan banker on back of SABMiller deal

Consumer specialist, who spent a secondment with the brewer and advised on its takeover by AB InBev, swaps big bank for boutique

Advisory boutique Robey Warshaw has hired a JP Morgan banker who worked alongside the firm on the agreed £77 billion tie-up between the brewers SABMiller and AB InBev.

Kunal Ranpara was registered with Robey Warshaw on the UK's Financial Services Register on March 14. He had worked in JP Morgan's consumer-sector banking team, where he was a vice-president, according to people familiar with the matter.
