Rothschild hikes bonus pool by 67%, rolls out special awards for dealmakers

Investment banks have been bolstering bonus payments for key dealmakers to keep talent in a red-hot market

Rothschild & Co has increased its bonus pool by nearly 70% and rolled out a new long-term incentive scheme for its bankers in a bid to retain dealmakers in a red-hot market for talent.

The independent investment bank posted record revenues of €1.9bn for its global advisory business in 2021, an increase of 67% on 2020 and a new high for the firm.
