Roger Wood, a managing director and head of North American power and utilities mergers and acquisitions at Citigroup, is joining Rothschild, the private investment bank, in the same role.

He is part of the Citigroup team advising Montana Public Power, a regional US power company, on its $2bn (€1.7bn) acquisition of Northwestern Corporation, a US utility.
