Royal Trust scoops two European custody mandates

Global custodians the Bank of New York, JP Morgan and HSBC Global Fund Services have lost European mandates worth $13.1bn (€14.3bn) to Canada's Royal Trust Global Securities Services.

Sun Life Financial of Canada has appointed Royal Trust as global custodian in the UK for assets under administration of $10bn, while Stockholm-based Svenska Handelsbanken gave the firm a $3.1bn mandate.
