Russell Investments, an institutional multi-manager, has hired a senior executive for European equities from F&C Asset Management, continuing a string of people moves in the asset class.

Davina Curling, who was head of F&C's European high alpha products before leaving the firm in November, will be responsible for managing over €12bn ($17.4bn) of assets. She will be a managing director reporting to Steve Wiltshire, Russell's chief investment officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
