Ryanair plans sale of 10 million new shares

Ryanair, Europe's biggest budget fare airline, on Tuesday announced plans to place up to 10 million new shares in a deal that will take place Friday.

Morgan Stanley and Dublin-based Davy Stockbrokers are joint lead managers of the proposed placing. The US investment bank lead managed Ryanair's successful initial public offering in May 1997.
