S&P Capital IQ, the financial data and research company, has appointed Barbara Reguero as head of global independent research operations. She will manage the research organisation of 65 analysts and help to develop new products for wealth managers and financial advisers. The research division includes equity, ETF and mutual fund analyst teams. Reguero previously worked at Nomura Securities International as global chief administrative officer of the fixed-income research division.
