S&P punishes Sony for MGM deal

Standard & Poor's has downgraded Sony Corporation, the Japanese electronics giant, for the first time in 10 years and warned more could follow.

S&P cut Sony's credit rating by one notch to single-A and left it with a negative outlook, indicating further downgrades could be on the cards.
