UK brewer SABMiller has turned away from its long-term legal adviser Hogan Lovells for advice on the approach it has received from rival Anheuser-Busch InBev.

SABMiller has opted to use magic circle law firm Linklaters on the possible mega deal, according to SABMiller. The company has a market capitalisation of £58.4 billion according to its website, and a deal would be one of the biggest-ever M&A deals in Europe.
