Sanlam Financial Services, the Dutch arm of the South African financial services group, is launching a stand-alone asset management arm on the back of its acquisition of Hitchens, Harrison & Co, the London-based independent stockbroker.

Hitchens Investment Management, the new asset management firm, will provide discretionary services for smaller pension funds, charities and private clients.
