Savills launches into corporate finance

Savills, the London-listed international property group which advised on the sale of the Lloyd's of London building in 2004, has launched a new corporate finance department.

It will be run by newly hired director Andrew Causer, formerly an investment banker with HSBC James Capel and JP Morgan.
