Scheme kickstarts loan trading market

Some of the biggest names in commercial banking are backing an initiative to boost Europe's €30bn (£19bn) loan trading market.

Key members of the Loan Market Association (LMA), including Citibank, HSBC, Bank of America, Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays Capital, are behind a scheme to help market players work out the true value of loans.
