Schneider buys power supply company

Schneider Electric, the French power and control company, has bought the remaining interest it does not own in MGE Systems, the power supply systems company, for an enterprise value of €850m (£597m).

Schneider, which already owns 32.3% of MGE, is exercising a call option and will acquire the company in two stages.
