Schroder Adveq, the private equity arm of asset manager Schroders, has appointed a new head of secondaries.

Christiaan van der Kam joins the private equity firm from Unigestion, where he was co-head of secondaries, and will begin his new role on 1 September. Schroder Adveq had $11.5bn assets under management as of 31 March this year.
