Schroders buys majority stake in Asian real estate manager

Schoders, which manages around £16.3bn in real estate assets, will bring on board 19 investment professionals as a result of the deal, with the division renamed Schroders Pamfleet

Schroders has acquired a majority stake in a $1.1bn Asian real estate investment firm Pamfleet, bolstering the listed UK asset manager's expertise in the asset class.

Schroders, which manages around £16.3bn in real estate assets, will bring on board 19 investment professionals as a result of the deal, with the division renamed Schroders Pamfleet.
