Schroders, the UK-listed fund management group, posted outflows of £2.3bn in the third quarter, despite positive flows across its wealth management arm and assets under management reaching a new record.

The FTSE 100 company saw investors pull £700m from its asset management arm in the three months to the end of September, driven predominantly by outflows from its solutions business. Its wealth management division pulled in £1bn of new money.
