Scottish Widows puts £7.5m into Sigma Tech Venture Fund

The Sigma Technology Venture Fund has made its first closing after reaching £17m (€27.5m), including £7.5m each from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), the fund manager owned by Lloyds TSB.

The fund had a founding investment of £7.5m from Bank of Scotland and now also has £2m from Sigma Technology Group, which manages the fund.
