SG Asset Management grows new business almost €12bn

SG Asset Management, the fund management division of French banking group Société Générale, won new business worth €11.6bn ($14.3bn) in the three months to June 30, pushing net income up by 19.2% to €62m compared to the same period last year.

More than half new client money was invested in structured products such as derivative-based funds which aim to match pension liabilities.
