SG Capital Europe raises first third-party fund

SG Capital Europe, the private equity affiliate of French bank Société Générale, has opened its new fund to outside investors for the first time, starting with a cornerstone investment from Goldman Sachs.

Goldman Sachs and Société Générale are committed to investing €180m ($220m) in the new fund.
