Silverfern forms private equity co-investment group

The Silverfern Group, a New York-based boutique investment banking firm specialising in middle-market mergers and acquisitions, is moving into private equity with the formation of Silverfern Co-Investment Partners.

The new group will invest between $50m (€39.5m) and $150m in private equity co-investment deals alongside firms in large and middle-market buyouts, acquisitions and recapitalizations. The group has already committed approximately $100m to various companies and aims to co-invest in eight to 10 such deals per year.
