Simon Warshaw, one of the lead UBS advisers to Vodafone on its $130 billion deal with Verizon Communications, is to leave the Swiss bank.

The departure of Warshaw, a senior dealmaker at UBS and a former co-head of global investment banking, was announced today in an internal memo, seen by Financial News, from Andrea Orcel, head of the investment bank.
