Assets under management have soared to a record £41.8 billion at St James’s Place, as chief executive David Bellamy dismisses concerns that the departure of star Invesco fund manager Neil Woodford could impact on SJP.

Woodford currently manages £4.5 billion on behalf of St James's Place, but Bellamy said the resignation will not affect his business.
