Slaughter & May crashes out of legal M&A top 10

Slaughter & May, one of Europe's elite M&A law firms, has dropped 12 places to 19th in this year's European M&A league tables.

The firm advised on 75 deals worth €49bn ($66bn) this year, down 13% by volume and 25% by value over 2003 when Slaughter & May took seventh place, according to league table figures from Mergermarket, the data provider.
