Smith Barney, the equity research arm of Citigroup, has lost a member of its oil research team less than two months after four other analysts left for Bank of America.

Paul Ting has left to join UBS Warburg as a senior integrated oils analyst in New York where he will report to Raul Esquivel, head of US equity research.
