Dan Clague, a 10-year veteran of French bank, jumps ship after a string of top hires

Société Générale’s head of UK mergers and acquisitions has left to join a rival just months after the French bank announced a major push in M&A and a string of top level appointments.

Dan Clague, head of UK M&A and transport and a ten-year veteran of Soc Gen, has joined Hawkpoint Partners, the advisory arm of UK stockbroker Collins Stewart, as a managing director, according to a Hawkpoint statement.
