A majority of corporate executives expect to pursue a merger or acquisition over the next year, despite facing a significant new hurdle in the dealmaking process.

EY’s biannual survey of 3,000 C-suite executives across 43 countries, published today, found that 56% intend to pursue M&A in the next year. Almost all of the executives surveyed expect the global economy and the M&A market, to stay stable or even improve.
