Societe Generale preps sale of Lyxor arm

French banking giant Societe Generale is preparing to offload its asset management arm, the second time in a year the fund management business has reportedly been up for sale.

According to Reuters, the bank has hired Citigroup to conduct a search for willing buyers of its Lyxor unit, which oversees €147.5bn of assets.
