Société Générale replaces administrative director

Société Générale has replaced its chief administrative director for the Americas, as the French bank continues to expand its investment banking division.

Mark Kaplan was appointed chief administrative officer for the Americas. His responsibilities include overseeing the bank's resources in the US, Canada and Latin America, including the chief financial officer, information systems, operations, human resources, facilities, sourcing and purchasing, and business continuity. He replaces Jean-Pierre Coulier who has taken a senior management position with the bank outside the US.
