SoftBank pays UK fund directors $13m despite $100m loss

Accounts provide a rare glimpse inside the finances of SoftBank Investment Advisers, which manages the Vision Fund

The UK arm of SoftBank’s vast Vision Fund paid four of its most senior staff around $13m during its latest financial reporting period, despite racking up a pre-tax loss of $108m.

In a rare glimpse inside the finances of SoftBank Investment Advisers, which manages the Vision Fund and is headquartered in London’s West End, the firm unveiled revenues of $138.8m for the year to March 31, 2019, according to accounts for SB Investment Advisers (UK) filed this week at Companies House.
