A prominent hedge fund marketer who worked with Greg Coffey at GLG Partners and then followed him to Moore Capital, is set to join Michael Hintze’s $11.9bn hedge fund firm CQS.

Soraya Chabarek, who is known for her strong connections in the Middle East, is joining CQS next week in the newly-created role of head of European sales, a spokesman for CQS confirmed.
