SSgA recruits on active side

State Street Global Advisers (SSgA) has recruited a new portfolio manager for its active equity management team in London.

Arnaud Amsellem has been hired by the investment manager, which has $667bn (€713bn) under management, to help supervise active European equity portfolios and develop the firm's newly launched European long-short strategy. He will report to Susanne Willumsen, head of active equity management in the UK.
