Standard & Poor's to give pension funds credit ratings

Standard & Poor's (S&P), the global ratings agency, is moving ahead with plans to award credit ratings to individual European pension funds.

Paul Bradley, associate director of S&P, said his firm expected to hold a conference in the beginning of May to discuss further the issue of rating funds. He was speaking at a National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) conference in Edinburgh.
