Standard Life Aberdeen reports 30% dive in profit

The asset manager said this was largely due to an 11% decrease in fee-based revenue

UK asset manager Standard Life Aberdeen reported £195m in profit before tax in the first six months of the year, slipping down from £280m over the same period in 2019.

The London-listed firm reported on 7 August assets under management of £511.8bn, lower than £544.6bn at the 2019 year end due to expected tranche withdrawals by Lloyds Banking Group.
