State Street Global Advisors has promoted the head of its Asia-Pacific business to a role overseeing global sales, filling a post left vacant by a management reshuffle late last year.

The $2.8tn fund management arm of US bank State Street said that Lochiel Crafter will take over as head of its Global Institutional Group, and will be responsible for the Boston-based investment manager's distribution efforts around the world.
