State Street gets custody mandate from €150bn Dutch fund

ABP, the €150bn ($128.8bn) Dutch public health employees pension fund and one of the largest in the world, has appointed State Street for custody and securities lending services for $21bn worth of assets.

The assets represent the fund's US and Japanese investments. The two firms already have a strategic partnership, State Street Global Alliance. The jointly-owned subsidiary focuses on partnering with innovative asset management firms.
