State Street to look after €300bn of Axa assets

Axa Investment Managers, the fund management arm of the French insurer, has appointed State Street to provide a range of administration services for more than €300bn ($400bn) of its assets.

The deal entails the transfer of more than 300 Axa employees in France, Germany and the UK and more than 1,500 portfolios to Boston-based State Street, which specialises in custody and administration for fund managers.
