Stockbroker Killik cuts 18 jobs following slowdown

No-frills retail stockbroking firm Killik & Co of the UK has cut 18 jobs following a severe decline in the levels of business executed over the last year.

The cuts will come out of a total workforce of 251, and include eight of Killik's 100 client-facing staff. Two of its London branches will close, leaving 16 in operation.
