Swapswire appoints Goldman's Carver as chief executive

SwapsWire, the derivatives trading network, has hired Chip Carver, former managing director of Global Interest Rate Products at Goldman Sachs, as its new chief executive officer.

London-based SwapsWire is backed by 23 of the biggest participants in the derivatives market, including Citigroup, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.
