Swedish banks in joint deal for e-broking system

The four largest banks in Sweden have agreed to build the infrastructure for a joint e-broking venture.

FöreningsSparbanken, Svenska Handelsbanken, Merita Nordbanken and SEB, which boast some of the country's largest investment banking and fund management operations, will be co-operating on a venture that will allow 24-hour stock trading every day of the week.
